Visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating. People tend to worry about what to wear, what to say and what to expect. Here's the deal. You can relax at HLBC. We are not hung up on formalities and dress codes because it's all about Jesus. Expect to meet people just like you so come as you are. You will see people wearing everything from suits to shorts. We are a diverse group of people of many races, generations and backgrounds. The unity we have found in Jesus is amazing. Expect to find the love of Jesus from people that sincerely care about you and each other. We are regular people that make a mess of life sometimes. But, as followers of Jesus Christ, we are learning to live life the way He planned it. Having experienced His love and grace, we are passionate about sharing His love with our city, our country and the world. We gather on Sundays to worship Him. It is a celebration as we sing, pray and learn from Scripture about who He is and His plan for our lives. Worship services at Hunsinger are awesome but worship is more than a weekend event. We understand it to be a way of life. At HLBC, there is a genuine passion to know Christ, and make Him known. We honor the Bible as God’s Word. It is the vital resource for learning who God is and how we are to live. Feel free to ask us the hard questions of life.
