Vacation Bible School Team
Share the love of Christ with children from Hunsinger and the community. Many opportunities to serve. Bible teachers, crafts, activities, support team. Requirements: Love kids, energy, patience. Adults and High School. Background check required. Evenings for one week plus preparation time.
Classroom Teacher
Communicate biblical truth through creative, age-appropriate means. Extend the love of Christ by engaging children relationally while providing oversight in a classroom environment. Requirements: Love for kids, patience, experience teaching children, and ability to represent the church’s values while engaging with children. If interested, contact Jared Kennedy. Adults only. Background check required. Serve on Sundays or Wednesdays. Six-month commitment.
Classroom/Nursery Helper
Extend the love of Christ by engaging children relationally while providing oversight in a Hunsinger Children’s classroom. Requirements: Energy, kindness, patience and an eagerness to engage and befriend children. Adults and youth age 16 and up. Background check required. Serve on Sundays or Wednesdays. Six-month or six-week commitment.
Infant Care
Extend the love of Christ by providing care for infants and nursing mothers. Requirements: Desire to care for infants and moms of newborns. Experience with young children. Female adults. Background check required. Serve monthly on Sundays.
Greeter Team
Welcome first-time guests at the Children welcome center and escort them to their children’s classrooms. Requirements: Energy, kindness, patience, eagerness to engage and befriend children. Adults. Background check required. Serve monthly on Sundays.
Sanitizing Team
Extend the love of Christ by helping to keep the toys and learning resources clean, sanitized and in good repair. Requirements: servant heart, detail oriented, dependable, handy with a wash rag or hand tools. Adults and High School. Serve weekly or monthly.
