Senior Pastor

Originally a native of Michigan (Go Maize and Blue!), for the last eighteen years Louisville has been home.  During those years the Hunsinger Lane Congregation has experienced steady spiritual and numerical growth.  Pastor Charlie is committed to the glory of God through worship, preaching and teaching the Bible, serving and caring for the congregation, and reaching others with the good news of Jesus Christ.  He and his wife Mendy have been happily married for 26 years and are the parents of four children.  Being with family, playing golf and softball, and whenever possible going to the ocean are always welcome times of enjoyment, relaxation and rest.

Minister of Administration

Brian grew up (some say he still hasn’t) in Louisville and has been a member of Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church most of that time.  He recently joined the HLBC ministry team after a 28 year career in engineering and business management.  Brian’s passion is to know Jesus and make Him known. Brian and his wife Beth celebrate their 28th anniversary this year. They have a son Jason and daughter Melanie.  Sharing life with others, soccer, UofL sports, and anything to do with the outdoors are a considered a good time for the Nichters.

Minister to Children

Miranda has been working with children for over twenty years. She and her husband Scott moved to Louisville sixteen years ago from Georgia, and they have 3 children. She has served as Children’s Minister since November of 2003. Miranda is always excited about meeting new families and their children.  She also sounds funny when she says the word picture ('pichure' in Georgian).

Campus Missionary

Will is a native of Louisville who still cheers for his beloved DuPont Manual Rams. While living in a group home in Northwest Iowa, his best friend led him to faith in Christ when he was fifteen. He and his wife Tracy have been married for five years and have a daughter, Darby. They enjoy spending time at the pool, playing with their two dogs and entertaining friends in their home while Tracy (born and raised in South Jersey) makes great cheese steaks and hoagies.
