PASTOR RELEASES FASTING  GUIDE

TITUS 2 WOMEN'S MINISTRY BEARING FRUIT

Great stories are already rolling in about the women's mentoring ministry that was launched in August.  

If you are a woman that desires to grow in Christ, be encouraged by other women, or just need someone to talk to right now, then HLBC's Titus 2 Women's ministry is a great place to start.  

This ministry is based on the Biblical model of Titus 2 that instructs women to teach younger women about God's design for their lives.   If you desire to help a younger woman or if you desire to be mentored please contact Sherri Selby through the church office at 491-4356.

 

  

THREE MUSLIM MEN SAVED IN PACIFIC RIM.   NOW OVER 120 NEW BELIEVERS
During a recent short term mission trip to the Pacific Rim, HLBC mission trip members were blessed with witnessing three Muslim young men make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ.  Two of the men were baptized publicly and the third was baptized the following week.  They were all overwhelmed with joy and thanksgiving as they experienced the grace of God through Jesus.    It was a very powerful time.

All three men acknowledged that they were putting themselves at serious risk of persecution but they were ready to take a stand for Christ.  These men are the first known believers in their people group of over 300,000 people.   Praise the Lord!

There are over 120 new believers in nine villages where 10 new house churches have been planted.   These are the first known believers in their people group.      

MEN'S FRATERNITY NOW FORMING
Meets Thursdays at 6:00am.
A new men's group has started.  

This group is open to all men.  It meets every Thursday morning at 6:00am in the Conference Room at the church.   This is a great opportunity to connect with other men, have a few laughs and find help in applying God's truth in your daily life at home, work, leisure and church.

This is a very exciting time in the life of HLBC.   God is calling His church to authentic relationship with Him and with each other.   As a church we have a vision to see every person at HLBC connected in Christ-centered community called Life Groups.    As a church united and connected in intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and each other is an unstoppable force.

YOUTH INSIDE-OUT AND SNL RELAUNCH

Every week youth at HLBC meet for mid-week worship and discipleship.   Middle Schoolers gather on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm for Inside-Out.  High Schoolers gather on Sunday night at 5pm for Sunday Night Live (SNL).    Both groups meet in the HYBE.

It's a blast and its a perfect time to invite a friend to be a part of all the fun.
